The Metropolis Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministries and the Metropolis Family Wellness Ministry are thrilled to be partnering with Faithtree Resources to bring “THE RELATIONSHIP PROJECT” to all of our parishes within the Metropolis of San Francisco!

The Relationship Project is an all-inclusive program that engages teens in today’s most needed conversations.

By exploring questions like What is our true identity?,  What does it mean to be a child of God?,  What is the true meaning of intimacy?, and What does the Church say about good mental health?  this compelling group study allows you to lead your youth in discovering who they are in Christ.  This program provides extensive support as you create a safe space for your teens to wrestle with the possible differences between what the world may suggest, versus what the Church teaches as truth.

Presented in an easy-to-use, visually stunning and highly engaging format: Teens will have fun connecting with you and each other as they learn the timeless wisdom and freedom that is found in the Orthodox Faith.

Composed of three connected parts, with multiple sequential teaching segments, The Relationship Project brings the teens in your youth program into an exciting exploration of how they were designed by God, and what that design means within their relationships.

By exploring all three Parts of The Relationship Project, your teens will discover who they are as children of God, how they were designed to be in relationship with others, with themselves, and ultimately with God.

ORDER YOUR WORKBOOKS HERE

Every participant should order the pack of 3 workbooks. Some parishes are selling the workbooks to the participants for a discounted rate and you can pick them up at the church, and some parishes are asking their participants to purchase them directly from FaithTree. The regular cost is $45. Please contact your parish priest or Relationship Project Youth Worker to find out how you should purchase your workbooks.

RESOURCES

CODE OF CONDUCTS

It is Best Practice to include: 1) a ‘Code of Conduct’ for the Youth Workers; and 2) a ‘Code of Conduct’ for the participant and their parent or guardian. ‘Code of Conduct’ statements signed in advance by Youth Workers and also by both parents and youth participants provides proper communication of expectations, especially in the event that it becomes necessary to exclude a participant due to inappropriate behavior.

FACILITATOR & PARENT ZOOM WORKSHOP RECORDINGS

We offered two separate Zoom workshops. One was for the Facilitators and the other was for the Parents/Guardians. If you missed the opportunity to join us live, you can watch the recorded Zoom videos of both workshops here.
