Y2AM Ministry Plan

"Creating resources for youth and young adult ministry isn't easy, and it takes a lot of time. Plus, the more we work in isolation, the less opportunity there is for programs to work together and support each other.

To help, we've created a new, comprehensive, and integrated set of resources for youth and young adults. Designed for parish, camp, and family use, they'll help you lead great ministry in your communities that's also supported in every home."

“Our mission is to help Orthodox Christian parishes develop thriving communities.

We do this by equipping clergy and lay leaders to participate in the work of the Holy Spirit by leading their communities to know, understand, and live out the Faith.”

Focus North America

FOCUS North America is a national movement of Orthodox Christians, united in faith and joined by a desire to provide action-oriented and sustainable solutions to poverty in communities across America. FOCUS has operations and youth volunteer experiences in more than 50 cities in the United States.

"IOCC, the International Orthodox Christian Charities, in the spirit of Christ's love, offers emergency relief and development programs to those in need worldwide, without discrimination, and strengthens the capacity of the Orthodox Church to respond."

Project Mexico

Project Mexico & St. Innocent Orphanage performs works of mercy and helps others do works of mercy in the name of Jesus Christ, transcending cultural barriers by building homes for the poor in Mexico and by providing a home for orphaned boys through St. Innocent Orphanage.

Since 1988, Project Mexico has been building safe, secure and weather-tight homes for some of the most impoverished families in Northern Mexico. Every home is constructed over the course of four days and built entirely with volunteer labor. Once complete, these homes are provided so that these families can build a brighter future for themselves and their children.

"OCMC stands for the Orthodox Christian Mission Center. As the official missions agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States, it is OCMC's mission to make disciples of all nations by bringing people to Christ and His Church."

YES Program

"The YES Program of FOCUS North America is YOUTH EQUIPPED TO SERVE.  YES provides opportunities for junior high, high school students, and college students to participate in formative weekends of service that aim to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor and bring youth to an awareness of Christ in themselves and others. Through this experience, we aim to identify and cultivate leadership gifts in trip participants, with the ultimate purpose being to raise up service leaders who will lead others in loving and serving our most needy neighbors in their own communities and on future YES trips."
