Labor Day Weekend 2019 in Long Beach, California is the place to be for young adults ages 18 – 35 at the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco Young Adult Conference. This event promises to offer a wide array of activities including engaging workshops, inspiring speakers, worship, fellowship, and a community service project. The beach is nearby and there will also be plenty of time for sun, surf and sand with your friends.

The YAL Conference is under the spiritual guidance of His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco.
An Advisory Board will be working closely with the Steering Committee to mentor them in planning and implementing all aspects of this event. The Honorable Steven and Stacia Counelis have been appointed as the Advisory Board Co-Chairs.
The YAL Conference Chairman is George Anagnostopoulos, a dynamic young adult who has been involved with the Saint John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival, Summer Camp at Saint Nicholas Ranch, FDF, and also in various ministries at his parish of Prophet Elias in San Bernardino, CA. George currently works as a financial analyst for AEW Capital Management, focusing on acquisitions and managing real estate investments for the west coast on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and pension funds.
