DIVINE LITURGY ON SUNDAY
We will be attending Liturgy at the nearby Orthodox Church. It is called Sts. Cyril & Methodius Orthodox Church. The Priest there is Fr. Ian Shipley.
The parish will be hosting lunch after Liturgy on Sunday, so feel free to bring a cash donation to thank them for hosting us.
Here is their parish website: http://orthodoxchico.com/
FLYING
SACRAMENTO AIRPORT (SAC):
If you are flying, we recommend that you fly into the Sacramento Airport (SAC). This airport is about 1.5 hours away from the camp site and if you fly in anytime after 3pm, someone can pick you up on their way.
SAN FRANCISCO (SFO) or SAN JOSE (SJC):
You can also fly into Northern California and road trip about 3.5 hours North to the camp site with the Bay Area Group. San Francisco (SFO) or San Jose (SJC) are great airports to fly into on Friday early afternoon (arrive before 4pm), and fly out late Monday night (after 5pm).
WEATHER:
Typical weather is mid 80’s during the day and mid 60’s at night.
We will be under the trees, so there will be nice shade and a fresh mountain breeze! Pack cool comfy clothes for the day, and some warm cozy clothes for the evenings.
