HELP MAKE REGIONAL GOYA RETREATS HAPPEN!

Thank you for your interest in applying to be a volunteer counselor at your local GOYA Lenten Retreat!

As a counselor, you will become a part of a dynamic team of individuals who love their faith and camp. You will work together, utilizing your God-given talents, to create the best possible weekend camping experience for our youth. You will be asked to reflect the light of Christ in all that you do!  

      
The Application process consists of the following:
1) Online Application  
2) Completion of background check and online youth protection training at your parish (GOA parishes only)
3) Phone Conversation

To be a volunteer,  you must be an Orthodox Christian, 19 years old or have completed your first year of college, and active in the life of the Orthodox Church.  

If accepted, you will be asked to fill out and submit a CampDoc Staff Health History form.

You will be asked to join 1 zoom call before the date of the retreat to meet the other counselors and understand the details of the retreat.

Each of these retreats will begin Friday evening and end Sunday early afternoon.
