Over the past few years the Metropolis has been able to offer a considerable number of summer camp scholarships to campers of families in financial need. This has been made possible by a generous yearly grant from the Archbishop Iakovos Leadership 100 Endowment Fund. We now have the added blessing of the Archbishop Elpidophoros Summer Camp Scholarship Fund that was created with the goal of providing children within our Archdiocese the opportunity to attend our beloved camps and experience the transformative power of faith, fellowship, and nature

With the generous support of both the Archbishop Elpidophoros Summer Camp Scholarship Fund and Leadership 100, the Metropolis will be able to offer camp scholarships to assist families experiencing financial challenges.

As the Archdiocese finalizes the details of distributing the scholarship money and grant funds, I highly suggest registering now by paying the $100 deposit to secure a spot as we are quickly filling up!

SUMMER CAMP APPLICATION PROCESS

STEP 1: Families fill out the online Scholarship Application:

STEP 2: Ask your parish priest to fill out the online Parish Priest Recommendation. He has already received this directly by email and will submit it directly to the Metropolis on your behalf. 

STEP 3: Once we have received the grant AND your parish priest recommendation has been reviewed, you will be contacted by email and the scholarship will be applied to your CampDoc account.

Please note: Applications are accepted until April 15, or until available funds are distributed. Submission of an application does not guarantee that a scholarship will be granted, or that the entire amount requested will be awarded.

*Please note that in order for the camp scholarship applications to be considered, the Parish Priest Recommendation is required. Camp scholarships are awarded on a first-come first-serve basis until camp sessions are full, or available funds are distributed.
